What are Solar Panels?
Solar panels (also known as “PV panels”) are composed of layers of silicon, phosphorous (which provides the negative charge), and boron (which provides the positive charge). They collect clean renewable energy in the form of sunlight and convert that light into electricity which can then be used to provide power for electrical loads.
A series of connected solar panels are called a Solar Array. The solar array sends the produced Direct Current (DC) electricity to the inverter, which converts the DC current into Alternating Current (AC) that can be used for non-DC appliances. Assisted by an inverter, solar panel arrays can be sized to meet the most demanding electrical load requirements for your homes or commercial buildings.
Jinko Solar Panels – Are They The Right Choice?
JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. is currently the world’s largest solar panel manufacturer. The company is a Tier company which has built a vertically integrated solar product value chain, with an integrated annual capacity of 10.5 GW for silicon wafers, 7.0 GW for solar cells, and 11.0 GW for solar modules, as of March 31, 2019. JinkoSolar distributes its solar products and sells its solutions and services to a diversified international utility, commercial and residential customer base in China, the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Chile, South Africa, India, Mexico, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, and other countries and regions.
Key Benefits Claimed By JINKO Solar:
- Panel power production capabilities up to 410W with Cheetah Mono Perc technology.
- Salt Mist corrosion tested – perfect for harsh climatic conditions.
- High output & efficiency even under low light conditions.
- 10-year product warranty, 25-year performance warranty
Rest assured that with three decades of history and growth, JINKO 25-year warrantyy really mean something.
The JINKO solar panel has two warranties: a Performance and a Product Warranty.
The product warranty covers the integrity of the panel itself, and protects you against problems such as defects in materials or workmanship. If a panel suddenly stops working after a few months because of a flaw in its solder joint, for example, your product warranty will most likely cover its repair or replacement. JINKO product warranty will be for 10 years from installation.
Performance warranty will indicate that, over time, the power output of all solar panels diminishes or “degrades”. Knowing this degradation rate, JINKO gives you clear sense of the minimum amount of power you’ll be guaranteed for the first 10 and 25 years of your panels’ life. Performance warranty will typically guarantee 90% production at 10 years and 80% at 25 years. If its output is lower than promised, the local supplier will replace, repair, or reimburse you for the panel – depending on the warranty terms.
But without the proper service coverage from the local supplier, relying on these warranties alone can result in substantial unexpected costs for your business.
Here’s why. Let’s say one of your solar panels malfunctions. It has to be removed and a new panel is ordered, shipped and then installed. Who’s going to pay for those services? You? The manufacturer? You might think they’re covered, but they’re not.
This is where Clarion Energy plays a vital role! We have nearly 1MW worth of panels as ex-stock to replace your effected panel with prompt and efficient service at your requirement.
